Meanwhile there is another actress who all geared up to play the same character of Rani Laxmi Bai is Deepika Padukoune. Deepika is yet to give her dates for the project but has agreed to do the role. This film will be directed by Vinay Shukla which is being made to celebrate 150 years of the First war of Independence. This film will also showcase the revolt and struggle of Heros like Tatya Tope and Nanashaheb Peshwa. Another actress who is all dressed up to play the role of Rani Laxmi Bai is Nandana Sen. She is working on a Hollywood project that demands her to play this role.
