Aishwarya was present there and unveiled the film Summer 2007. This film stars Sikander Kher. Sikander is a good friend and almost like a brother to Abhishek Bachchan. As Abhishek could not make it to the event Aishwarya covered up her absence by being there for the event. She spoke openly, smiled and giggled through out the event. While she was unveiling small pieces of glass hit the cheeks of Sikandar and it started bleeding. Ash immediately asked for asked for tissues and wiped of his cheek. She expressed her joy for being present at the event. She said that Sikandar and his family are like a family to her and Abhishek.

Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan have been married for over a year now and the Bachchan family is very happy of their decision of making her their Bahu. She has proved to be the prefect wife for Abhishek. She has proved to be a great companion for Abhishek and both of them look really in love even today. She has been guiding Abhishek on crucial decisions. She is also keeping a good eye on Abhishek’s weight. She makes sure that he eats right and does not put on those extra kilos. She love spending time with the family and does not miss out on any movement to be with the senior Bachchans.

Ashwariya Rai Bachchan considers her family over all after marriage. She has also been selective in choosing films after marriage and has let go of many project but she still insists that she is very professional when it comes to work. She is very responsible when it comes to her profession. After coming back from her honeymoon, she went straight to the location for Jodhaa Akbar. She talks about the Bachchan family and says that the Bachchans are extremely professional and do not let their work suffer but they also love to spend time together. She has worked in films like Pink Panther and Jodhaa Akbar after her marriage.

Aishwarya thinks that she has been blessed with a wonderful marriage on both the personal and professional fronts. After her marriage Aishwarya was first seen in the film Jodhaa Akbar where she proved that no one can match her beauty and acting skills. She now has completed her Hollywood film Pink Panther. She says that she has been working on selective films since Devdas which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She is working on a few films now and says hat she will only do. After marriage she has just let go of many film because of the time constrains. But she is happy and excited at the same time about her films and marriage

It is the third time in a row that Ashwariya Rai Bachchan has declined to act with Hollywood star Will Smith. Ashwariya says that her family is her priority as if now and so he had to turn down Tonight He Comes opposite Will Smith. Ashwariya says that she would definitely love to work with Will as he has a very charismatic personality and is an excellent actor. But luck has been such that when two years back Ashwariya was offered the comedy film Hitch which was also remade into Hindi as Partner with Salman Khan and Govinda she could not do the film due to time constraints. Then when she was offered The Seven Pounds Teji Bachchan’s health was not too well so she denied the offer.

Since her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, Ashwariya Rai has been turning down movies left right and center. First she refused to work in Karan Johar’s Dostana as the script required some steamy scenes that too opposite her hubby dear but she felt it will go against her Bachchan Bahu image. Now Priyanka Chopra has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. Recently there was news that Ashwariya has signed a film opposite south superstar Rajnikanth named Robot. Ashwariya said that she wanted to work with Rajnikanth as he is phenomenal. Ashwariya signed this film for 6 crores but the news is that she will be backing out from the project as the director of the film plans to complete the film in two years and Ashwariya does not want to be associated to a film for that long.

Ashwariya Rai has done films like Josh, Devdas and Mohabatein with Shah Rukh Khan. But the reason they did not do many films together was Salman Khan. It seems that when Ashwariya was seeing Salman at that time he was not to secure and did not like her working with the King Khan. Salman also created at mess at the sets of Chalte Chalte because of which Ashwariya had to quit the film and Rani Mukherji stepped in. But all this is a story of the past now and Ashwariya Rai Bachchan is now enjoying her marriage and success of Jodha Akbar. When contacted she admitted that she will not mind working with the King Khan Again.

Aishwarya Rai has made us proud once again. Aishwarya stands at the ninth
position in a poll of the 100 most beautiful women of today in the July issue of
Harpers and Queen. At the top of the list are Hollywood’s beauty Angelina Jolie who is followed by model Christy Turlingron. Then comes Queen Rania of Jordon and director Sofia Copolla. When contacted Abhishek said that he is very proud to have the best wife in the world. The news made Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan so happy that they went straight to Amarnath to pray along with Anil Ambani.
